Rege Lewis is a professional film, television and stage actor having appeared in numerous theaters across the country, including Mark Taper Forum’s Top/Dog Under/Dog Directed by George C. Wolf and the Tony Award winning Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park’s World Premiere 1:23 directed by Mark Wing-Davey.

The Augusta, Ga native was introduced to acting by his high school English teacher Mrs. Diane Gilyard and has since gone on to make extraordinary strides in his acting career. Rege currently shares his astute professional experiences as a Graduate Assistant Professor of Acting at the University of Nevada Las Vegas commonly known as UNLV.

Recent television credits include: Guest Star Lead in CBS’ FBI. Other notable appearances include Guest Star Lead in NBC’s Chicago PD, Recurring role on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire and a Co-Star role on CBS’ Blue Bloods.

When it comes to films, Rege has also shared the big screen with his favorite actor Jeffery Wright amongst others as Bernard “B-Ball” Ball in the Official Sundance Selection The Inevitable defeat of Mister and Pete.

Rege is a graduate of the William Esper Studio matriculating under the guidance of the late great Bill Esper. He member of UNLV’s 2023 MFA Cohort, and a long-standing member of SAG-AFTRA.He is also the proud owner of the Universal School of Acting for young actors, and the founder of the Anti-Bullying Team/IDentify the Bully initiative and stage play for youth.
