Academic Success! Rege Lewis earns his Master’s of Fine Arts in Theatre, Television and Film Performance, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas graduating Magna Cum Laude.

During the SAG-AFTRA Strike, I had the opportunity to portray Malcolm X in a gripping short film about a heavenly meeting between Malcolm X and Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr., portrayed by Donte Muse; called “Meeting of the Minds.” Directed by Choice Skinner.

Crumbs from the Table of Joy – A Theatrical Delight!
I was taken on the role of Godfrey Crump in the heartwarming memory play “Crumbs from the Table of Joy” by two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage, directed by Clinton Turner Davis. Set in the 1950s, this poignant story follows the Crump family’s journey from Florida to Brooklyn after the loss of their matriarch, exploring their adjustments to a new world and the challenges they face.
The production, presented by the Nevada Conservatory Theatre at the Judy Bayley Theatre from Dec. 9-18, promises an unforgettable experience. Learn more about this compelling performance.

Rege Lewis Shines as Henry Pace in Juneteenth Concert!
Recently, I portrayed the iconic Henry Pace, first Black-owned record label CEO, in the immersive “Black Swan Radio Hour” at Charleston Heights Art Center. Directed by Richard L. Hodges, the Juneteenth event paid tribute to Black Swan Records, highlighting the stories of Black classical musicians who broke barriers in the 1920s.
The performance, focusing on opera and spiritual songs, celebrated the universal joy of music, transcending racial boundaries. In this brief, powerful 75-minute concert, I joined a stellar cast to commemorate Juneteenth and honor the lasting impact of Black artistic achievement. Explore more.
